Frist Street Side Pop-Up

By the time this post goes live today will be weeks behind. Working hard to get lots of inventory for all the different winds that make up Lost Breeze, including this blog. Today something happened that’s awesome, encouraging and so much fun.

Over the last few weeks Lost Breeze has been experimenting with a shopping cart. Modifying, cleaning, adding stickers, organizing and rearranging over and over again. Creativity, artistry and camaraderie are big features of this adorable little unincorporated community Lost Breeze is creating from.

Craft fairs, famers markets, annual and sessional events, swap meets and street pop-ups within and around this community nourish the creative creators all around.

Sooo.. today September 17th 2024, Lost Breeze made its first unofficial introduction to the community with a street pop-up! Joining a long time regular at a local intersection with a great/safe turn off allowing for perfect street selling. Heading out just for an hour during the evening rush, with the shopping cart filled with Lost Breeze goodies (roses, lavenders, beanies, scrunchies, bookmarks and wristlets) a sign and of course crochet projects to work on, no exceptions were made.. the goal was just to get out there.

Completely enjoying the courage it took to stand out their solo as the day ends and the chills pick up, goal was accomplished. Lost Breeze was trying, learning, growing and omg even succeeding!.. two sales were made! In the last 20 minutes of the pop-up amazing community members stopped, chatted, encouraged and purchased. A girlfriend that also crochets (love this!) will be receiving a steamed Rose, Lavender and a bonus Green (her favorite color) Scrunchie. A lovely young man stopped with his father and picked out a flower bookmark (his a big reader, amazing) for himself and a steamed Rose for his mother. Everyone being so wonderful to chat with, excited about their purchases, incredibly encouraging and even ensuring they will be able to find Lost Breeze products again, simply the best interactions Lost Breeze could ask for.

Incredibly grateful and can’t wait to get out there again!
